Funeral Services for Beth Martinsen of O'Neill, Nebraska will be 10:30 AM Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Christ Lutheran Church in O'Neill, NE. Burial will follow in the O'Neill Cemetery.  Pastor John Nelson will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 5 to 7PM at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a Prayer Service at 7 PM.  Beth passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, NE at the age of 65. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.

Beth Ann Goldfuss was born January 6th, 1960 in Plainview, Nebraska to Eugene and Sharon (McDonald) Goldfuss.

She grew up on a farm North of Page until her family moved to Page, NE where she attended the Page Elementary school. Beth attended O'Neill High School where she graduated Valedictorian. She ran combine during the harvest season for her parents all through her high school years and helped out when she needed in her adult life.  She went to college at the National School of Business in Rapid City, SD where she graduated in the top 10 of her class.  She enjoyed going to many concerts while in college {Kiss being her favorite} and got to travel to Italy and France.

On September 6th, 1995 she married Chuck Martinsen. From this union a son Adam was born on November 5th, 1996.  Upon graduating from college, Beth moved back home where she worked in the business office at St. Anthony's Hospital.  She retired from Niobrara Valley Electric in 2020, after working 31 years with them.

She was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in O'Neill, NE.  Beth enjoyed planting flowers, Nebraska Volleyball and Football, taking care of her yard, camping at Calamus, and riding around in the golf cart with Chuck around the campsite.  She loved her dogs Sammy, Babie, and Tessa.

Beth is survived by her husband Chuck Martinsen of O'Neill; son, Adam Martinsen of Omaha, NE; stepchildren, Neal (Lindsay) Martinsen of Hickman, NE, Bradley (Courtney) Martinsen of St. Paul, NE; Grandchildren, Aubree, Brantley, Eizley, and Kinzey; sisters, Debra (Mike) Feauto of Norfolk, Connie (Rob) Herbers of Omaha, NE; brothers- in- law, Chris (Kris) Martinsen of Cassoday, KS, Cary (Holly) Martinsen of Glendale, AZ and Chad (Jamie) Martinsen of Elgin, NE;  nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Sharon Goldfuss; Father-in-law and Mother – in -law, Nelce and Marilyn Martinsen; Step-Daughter Lynnze Martinsen; brother-in-law, Delmar Blum; nephew, Brandon Blum.
