A Memorial Mass for William "Bill" Donohoe, age 75, of O'Neill will be 10:30 am Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill. Father Bernard Starman will officiate.  Inurnment will follow in the O'Neill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, June 8, 2026 at Biglin's Mortuary with a Parish Rosary at 7:00 pm.  Bill passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Legato Living at Five Fountains in Elkhorn, Nebraska.  Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

William Clarence Donohoe was born the sixth of ten siblings to Clarence and Lois Donohoe, Bill grew up on the family farm north of O'Neill, where he was part of the third generation to call the Donohoe homestead home.

Bill received his education at a local country school before graduating from St. Mary's High School.  His roots in the community ran deep, and he cherished the friendships he built throughout his life.

Known for his simple pleasures, Bill found joy in camping, traveling, and sharing a cold beer with his friends at the Round Table.  His quick wit and warm spirit brought laughter and light to those around him.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Hansen (Jeff) and Megan Cross (Jeremy), and his grandchildren: Kendall, Kenzie, Camdyn, Ella, and Broderick; brothers Neil (Karen) and Pat Donohoe; sisters Kathleen Rosenberg, Mary Straka (Dan) Jeanne Hauser (Joe).  Bill also leaves behind a wide circle of friends and family who will remember him fondly.

Preceded in death by sisters Ellen Shaw and Ann Donohoe; brothers Tom Donohoe and Owen Donohoe.

Bill's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.  He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his kindness, humor, and love for family and friends.
