Funeral Services for Carol Tenborg, age 65, of O'Neill will be 11:00 am Monday, December 31, 2018 at Word of Life Christian Center in O'Neill.  Burial will be in the O'Neill Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour before prior to the service at the church.

Carol passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.  Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Carol Ann Ford was born June 18, 1953 to Jerome and Frances (Gamel) Ford in Atkinson, NE.  She married the love of her life Gregory Dale Tenborg on June 18th, 1970.  Carol was a CNA for twenty years and also worked in retail but her true calling was being a mother and grandmother.  Her family meant the world to her and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them.

Carol loved to keep busy with various hobbies.  She loved to sew, she enjoyed woodworking, crocheting, needlepoint, growing plants and flowers, and many other crafty things.  She really enjoyed making her grand-kids Halloween costumes.  Carol was a mom to not just her kids but many of her kids' friends as well.  It was just an everyday thing to have between one and five kids hanging at her house.

Carol is survived by her three daughters, Shannon Reuter and husband, David, of Council Bluffs, Stacy Trujillo and husband, Angelo, of Council Bluffs, Kathleen Miller of O'Neill, NE; nine grandchildren, Austin (Shelby) Tenborg, Jermiah Neth, Jonathan Neth, Anna Kruse, Britney (Josh) Gaytan, Anheletio Trujillo, Izzabella Trujillo, Hana Miller, Taaller Miller; one great-granchild, Josei Tenborg; brothers, Craig Ford of Omaha, NE, Jon Ford and wife, Emma Jean, of Minnesota, Steve Ford of O'Neill; sisters, Jaynell Schaaf and husband, Dan, of Atkinson, Sue Cook of Howells, Brenda Halstead and husband, Bob, of O'Neill, Nancy Lines and husband, Dennis, of O'Neill, Terri Wolfgram and husband, Kevin, of Columbus; sisters-in-law, Deb Ford of Fairfax, SD and Cheryl Ford of Lincoln, NE; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Greg Tenborg in 2000; son, Lawrence Tenborg in 1986; grandchild, Nicholas Gaytan in 2011; two brothers, Jerome Ford Jr., and Bruce Ford.
