A Memorial Mass for Cheryl Lee, age 76, of O'Neill will be 10:30 am Friday, December 27, 2024 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill.  Fr. Bernard Starman will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date in the O'Neill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a 7:00 pm Parish Rosary.  Cheryl passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at CHI Health St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln, NE.  Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.  Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Cheryl Louise Donlin was born on September 11, 1948 alongside twin sister Carol Sue to James and Rubie (Johnson) Donlin in O'Neill, Nebraska.  Cheryl attended St. Mary's in O'Neill until the eighth grade and graduated from O'Neill Public High School in 1966.  In the summertime Cheryl would ride along with her dad in the bread truck and do the invoicing for him.

After high school, she married Richard (Junior) Wright.  To this union was born her son, Rick.  In 1994, she married David Lee in Lake Andes, SD.

Her employment included a packing plant in Sioux City, IA; O'Neill Nursing Home; Dollar General in O'Neill, NE; and the Evergreen Assisted Living, where she was very fond of their residents and staff.

Cheryl was a very generous person who enjoyed living life to the fullest and enjoyed being around people.  She enjoyed planting flowers in the spring time and also enjoyed playing lottery scratch tickets and even won $35,000 on one.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, David Lee of O'Neill; her son, Rick Wright of San Diego, CA; two stepsons, Eric (Molly) Lee of Jackson, TN, and John (Josie) Lee of Kearney, NE; two grandchildren, Damian, and Olivia of San Diego, CA; great grandson, Emiliano of San Diego, CA; her brother, Larry Donlin of Aurora, NE; her sister, Mary Jo Linebaugh of Lincoln, NE; several nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Carol Pavel in 2004.
