Memorial Services for Daniel Philbrick, age 64, of Beatrice, formerly of O'Neill, will be at a later date.

Daniel passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, NE.

Memorials may be directed to the Mosiac Center in Beatrice.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Daniel was born on September 22, 1952 in O'Neill, NE, to Dwayne and Valera (Lofquest) Philbrick.  He graduated from O'Neill High School in 1970 as Valedictorian.  He enjoyed many different sports activities, and once took 2 ^nd place at state wrestling.  Daniel was in a car accident on June 3, 1970, and received a brain injury.

Daniel had been in Beatrice at the Mosaic since September 5, 1986.  While there, he participated in many of their activities.   Daniel liked keeping in contact with friends through Facebook, and he loved his family very much.

He is survived by his mother, Valera Philbrick, of Norfolk, NE, 2 sisters; LaVeda McDonald and husband Tim of Lee, FL, and Diane Carkhuff of Midwest City, OK, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne, in 2011.
