A Funeral Mass for Doris Brachle, age 66, of O'Neill will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill with burial to follow in the O'Neill Cemetery.  Fr. Bernard Starman will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a 7 pm parish rosary.  Doris passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family after a hard-fought battle with cancer.  Memorials may be directed to her family for future designation.  Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Doris Elaine Pritchett was born November 3, 1959, in O'Neill, Nebraska, to Joseph and Rose (Turay) Pritchett.  She attended school at District 60 through the eighth grade and later graduated from O'Neill High School with the Class of 1979.

Following high school, Doris held various jobs over the years.  She met the love of her life, Tim Brachle, at the carnival in Carney Park.  The couple was united in marriage on September 23, 1989 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill.  They made their home near Emmet, where they raised their family.  To this union, five children were born: Ryan, Joey, Ashley, Carl, and Jessica.  Doris took great pride in raising her children and caring for her family.

Doris was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening and took special pride in her flowers.  She also loved horses, fishing, and traveling, including two memorable trips to Cancun, and attending the National Finals Rodeo.  Doris was known for her strong spirit and sense of humor, especially when it came to keeping Tim in line.

Doris will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her love of the outdoors, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures.

Doris is survived by her husband Tim Brachle of Emmet, NE; her children, Ryan (Elizabeth) Brachle of Plainville, CT, Joey Brachle of Fremont, NE, Ashley Brachle of Emmet, NE, Carl Brachle of Emmet, Jessica Brachle of Omaha, NE; seven grandchildren, Ethan Brachle, Lili Brachle, Kiara Brachle, Spencer Brachle, Tate Brachle, Roper Brachle, Skyland Brachle; sister, Loretta (Chuck) Roehrich of Grand Island, NE, brother, Jerald (Rhonda) Pritchett of O'Neill, NE; brother-in-law, Larry Wabs of Page, NE; close friend, Susanne Schrunk of Emmet, NE; her dog, Clover; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Rosalie Marie Brachle; brother, Harvey Pritchett; sister, Lorraine Wabs.
