Memorial Services for Dorothy Foree, age 92, of O'Neill will be at a later date. Dorothy passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Arbor Care Center in O'Neill, Nebraska. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Lee Campbell was born on May 10, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri to Vernon and Doris (Sewell) Campbell. She graduated from Kansas City East High School in 1945. After graduation, Dorothy worked for the Santa Fe Railroad Shops as a bookkeeper.

Dorothy married Charles "Russ" Foree on December 7, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas. To this union, six children were born; Steven, Diane, Patricia, Terence, Curt, and Christopher. The family later moved to La Junta, Colorado where Russ was working with his family. The couple later moved to O'Neill, Nebraska, and ran Foree Tire for over 50 years.

Dorothy was an avid reader. She enjoyed crocheting, interior decorating, giving thoughtful gifts, and was an excellent cook. Dorothy was known for her well-kept landscaping and beautiful flower gardens. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church in O'Neill.

Dorothy is survived six children, Steven (Jean) Foree, Diane (Kenneth) Heiser, Patricia (Dave Burleson) Foree, Terence (Karen Davis) Foree, Curt Foree, Christopher (Christen) Foree; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russ Foree in 2020; grandson, Jeremy Wyatt Foree; and sister, Betty Jean Mayfield.
