Funeral Services for Eleanor Parshall, age 72, of O'Neill, will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill, with burial in the Phoenix Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday, February 10, 2017, with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service at Biglin's Mortuary.

Eleanor passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, at the O'Neill Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Eleanor Patricia Parshall was born on March 19, 1944 in Atkinson, Nebraska to Paul and Marguerite (Good) Parshall.  She traveled with her family throughout Nebraska while her parents drove truck for Peter Kiewit and Sons Construction paving highways.  Eleanor graduated from Atkinson High School in 1962.

Eleanor worked at Valley Hope in O'Neill for several years before she became a cook at the O'Neill Nursing Home.  She retired in 2004 after working at the nursing home for 27 years.

Eleanor liked to crochet, loved to cook, was an avid gardener, and she enjoyed her flowers.

Eleanor is survived by her two children, Donna Beem of Casper, Wyoming, Loran Bringelson and wife, Heidy, of O'Neill; one grandchild, Paul Parshall; one brother, Delbert Parshall, and wife, Cindy, of O'Neill; one sister, Ethel Parshall; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Parshall Jr.; and two sisters, Pauline and Luevon Parshall.
