A Celebration of Life Service for Emerson Schmaderer of O'Neill, NE formerly of Covina, CA will be Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 1 pm at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill, Nebraska.  Emerson passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 as a result of a fatal car accident.  Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.  Biglin's Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.

Emerson Gerald Schmaderer was born on September 23, 1995 in San Dimas, CA.  He and his twin sister, Jennifer were lovingly adopted and welcomed into the home and family of Doug and Kathy Schmaderer in Covina when they were just 10 months old.

Emerson was a happy baby, full of smiles and wonder. He delighted in being a bit mischievous from a very young age.  As he grew older, he loved skateboarding and riding his bike with all his friends.  After high school graduation, Emerson relocated to O'Neill, Nebraska where his
grandparents live.  He loved being in the great outdoors where he could hunt and fish; which he loved very much. Emerson had a great sense of humor and was always making everyone around him laugh.  He had a very generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to
anyone he met including those who were ostracized by others.

Emerson was survived by his fiancé, Sadie Weekley, of O'Neill; their precious two year old son, Damon Michael Schmaderer (his little man) of O'Neill; his parents, Doug and Kathy Schmaderer of Covina, CA; his beloved twin sister, Jennifer of San Dimas, CA; older brother Daniel, his wife, Michelle, and niece, Berlin, of Rosemead, CA; his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Helen Schmaderer of O'Neill; maternal grandfather, Nile Holmes of Las Vegas, NV; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Emerson was preceded in death by his older brother, DJ and his maternal grandmother, Virginia
Holmes.
