Funeral Services for Eula Finley, age 97, of Sioux City and formerly of Page, Nebraska, will be at 11:00 am Friday, January 14, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in Page with Rev. Brian Loy officiating. Burial will be in the Page Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time at the church the day of the service. Eula passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Westwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Eula Ora Lee Closson was born on August 25, 1924 in Clearwater, Nebraska to Earl and Dorothy Juanita (Wyman) Closson. She graduated from O'Neill High School in 1942. Upon graduation, she taught country school outside of Page, Nebraska.

Eula married James "Jim" Finley 0n April 1, 1944 in Page. To this union, a daughter was born, Sheila. Together, they farmed in the Page area until 1954, when the family moved to California. They also farmed near Bronson, Iowa for 15 years before returning to Page in 1971. The couple owned and operated Finley Service for a time. Eula also worked for Gibson's in O'Neill in the 1970-80's, the Farmer's Store in Page, and Buxton Electric/D.E.C. in Page until she retired in 2007. Eula then moved to North Sioux City, South Dakota to live with her daughter.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Page and the Page American Legion Post 315 Auxiliary.

Eula is survived by her daughter, Sheila Kjose of North Sioux City, South Dakota; two grandsons, Michael Kjose of Waterloo, Iowa, Bryan Kjose of North Sioux City, South Dakota; one brother, Clifford (Jan) Closson of Loveland, Colorado; a sister-in-law, Rachel Closson of California; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Finley in 1994; and a brother, Raymond Closson.
