Memorial services for Frank Meyer, age 66 of Orchard, NE will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Orchard United Methodist Church in Orchard, NE with lunch to follow. Pastor Janene Reynolds will Officiate. Frank passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill, NE. Arrangements are under the direction of Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Frank Gene Meyer was born on September 13, 1956 in Tilden, Nebraska to Robert and Laurel (Jones) Meyer. He grew up in rural Antelope County and attended country school north of Orchard through eighth grade. Frank graduated from Orchard High School in 1974 and later married Kathy Dean in San Antonio, Texas on June 2, 1986.

Frank began his farming career in high school alongside his father Bob, and later his brothers, Bill and Richard. Frank continued to farm throughout his life with his best friend Joe Meyer, and children, Bodie and Keelie.

Frank was diagnosed with diabetes at age 13 and began the battle with the life long disease. His fight with diabetes also led to complications with his heart later in life. Franks never let his health conditions slow him down. He spent his free time driving his side-by-side on the backroads of Orchard and lived for the chance to venture north on an adventure with whom ever. He loved his garage/mancave and spent many hours there with his family and friends. He loved people and was always ready for anything that involved friends or family.

Frank is survived by his father, Robert Meyer of Orchard, NE; his wife, Kathy Meyer of O'Neill, NE; his two children, Bodie Meyer and wife Denise and two children Ryett and Raeley of Orchard, NE; Keelie Meyer and her wife Juanita and two children Ethan and Brooklyn of O'Neill, NE; brother, Richard Meyer and wife Eva of Orchard, NE; sister, Judy Olson of Orchard, NE; good friend, Joe Meyer of Orchard, NE and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by: mother, Laurel Meyer; infant brother, Michael Meyer and brother Bill Meyer.
