A Service of Comfort for Gloria (Breyer) Sims, age 63, of Richmond, California and formerly of Naper, will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Pastor Rodney Rixe will officiate. Gloria died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her home in Richmond, California.


Gloria Beth Breyer Sims, daughter of Everett and Alberta Breyer, was born in Lynch, NE, on October 20, 1952. She married Michael Sims on May 26, 1977. Michael Sims preceded her in death on February 11, 2011. Gloria graduated from the University of Berkley in 1983. She was a Secretary and loved her job, and the beautiful scenery and mountains of California. Gloria and Michael traveled extensively through Alaska and Europe. She loved music and played the piano and organ. She loved to read books, books, and more books.


Gloria was a hard worker, and we will surely miss her smile and her music.

She is survived by her mother, Alberta Breyer, of O'Neill, NE, 2 Sisters; Marla Conley and husband Gene of Grand Island, NE, and Lynnelle Deffenbuagh of Springfield, MO, and one brother, Randall Breyer and wife Sherri of Lorena, TX, and several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Breyer in 2011, her Grandparents, R.H. and Martha Breyer and J.D. and Libby Boucher.
