Harold Dale Larson passed peacefully on September 6th surrounded by family after suffering an aneurysm while enjoying a drive on the backroads with his wife of 51 years, Becky (Summerer) Larson.

The couple has been blessed by four children, Brian Larson of Bridgeport, WV, Cathleen (Bill) Bohaty of Mead, NE, Amy (Tom) Scott of Chambers, NE, and Bradley (Emily) Larson of Chambers, NE. Harold loved being a grandpa to Hannah Scott, Wyatt Bohaty, Brock Scott, Draeger Scott, Weston Brown, Vivien Larson, Augustus Larson, Jameson Scott, and Solomon Larson.

Harold is also survived by his siblings, Wayne (Julie) Larson of Billings, MT, Carolyn (Jerry) Dusatko of Kinsey, MT, Ramona (Dan) Cutler of Blair, NE, Sandy (Tom, deceased) Sonderup of Fullerton, NE, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Phyllis (Wood) Larson.

Harold was born on July 29th, 1953 in Burwell, Nebraska.  At a young age, the family moved to the homestead east of Chambers where he lived most of his adult life.  He graduated from Chambers High School in 1971, where he excelled in football, basketball, and track.  Throughout his life, Harold was an avid outdoorsman.  He especially enjoyed rodeo, coyote hunting, ranching, feeding his fish, and especially exploring on his side-by-side.

Friends and family will be received at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill, NE on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM.  An outdoor funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Bethany Presbyterian Church (Rural Ewing, NE) at 10:30 AM followed by Interment at Valley View Cemetery.

The family invites you to join them afterwards at Chambers Community Center for lunch.  Cowboy Casual dress encouraged and closed toed shoes recommended for the cemetery.
