Graveside Services for Jack Moore, age 64, of O'Neill, NE, will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 14, 2018, at Chambers Cemetery in Chambers, NE. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Jack passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Jack Paul Moore was born on July 4, 1953, in O'Neill, Nebraska, to Paul O. and Mary Lou (Spath) Moore. He was raised and attended schools in Rapid City, South Dakota, and Huron, South Dakota, before moving with his family to Boise, Idaho. He graduated from Capital High School in Boise and went on to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

He married Jenny Southwick in Salt Lake City, Utah.  They later divorced.  To this union two children were born, Christopher and Matthew.

While in junior high and high school, Jack developed a love for music, especially blues and jazz. He played keyboards, trumpet, and flugelhorn in local bands throughout much of his life.  Jack loved living in beautiful places and lived in Maui, Hawaii, Carlsbad by the Sea, California, Provo, Utah, and Boise, Idaho. He was an avid mountain cyclist. After his parents passed away, Jack moved back to O'Neill to be closer to his sister Trish.

Jack is survived by his two sons, Christopher Moore and Matthew Moore; one sister Trish Burtwistle of Lincoln, Nebraska; niece, Samantha Burtwistle of O'Neill; nephew, Charley Burtwistle of O'Neill, Aunt, Angie McMillen of Riverside, California, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his Aunt Dorothy Fullerton; and uncle Bud Spath.
