Memorial Services for James Holland, age 43, of O'Neill will be 11:00 am Saturday September 21, 2019 at Dorsey Community Church, north of O'Neill.  Rev. Mike Durre will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

James passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at his home in O'Neill.

Memorial may be directed to the family for future designation.  Biglin's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

James Alan Holland was born in Orange, California on November 8, 1975 to Norman and Linda (Scherer) Holland.  His father passed away in November of 1985 at the age of 39, when James was just 10 years old.  James attended Corona Christian High School while caring for his mother.

He moved to Nebraska in 2004.  James worked at Dairy Queen in O'Neill for a couple of years.  He then went on to work for Environmental Services at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital while caring for his Mother.

James was a devout Christian.  He enjoyed reading his bible.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games.

James is survived by his mother, Linda Holland of O'Neill; siblings, Cathie (John) Franklin of Highland, CA, Jeff (Jeanette) Franklin of O'Neill, Brooke (Brian) Kaczor of O'Neill; four nephews, and two nieces.

He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Holland.
