A Memorial Visitation for Jeff Manoucheri, age 85, of O'Neill will be Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.  Jeff passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Kinship Pointe Assisted Living in Wayne after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Jeff got degrees in biology and pharmacy from Creighton, University, where he met his wife of 57 years, Kathy.  He began his pharmacy career in Kansas, working for the Wild Willy's chain, ultimately moving in 1972 to O'Neill, Nebraska, Kathy's hometown.

Jeff would work first for the Gibson's chain managing pharmacies in O'Neill and Broken Bow, Nebraska and Fort Morgan, Colorado simultaneously.  He finally bought the Gibson's pharmacy in O'Neill.  He opened his own store in the 1980's, JM Discount Drug, a fixture of O'Neill's east side.

Jeff had three sons, Mike, David, and Adam, all of whom grew up and went to school in O'Neill

He had a love of woodworking, often building furniture and home items for his children and grandchildren.  He restored old cars, his favorites being British classics.  After a lengthy pharmacy career, Jeff retired and sold his store in 2005.  He spent years visiting his children and grandchildren across Nebraska and the US.

Jeff was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2022.  Like many things in his life, he surprised everyone fighting for 2 ½ years before finally losing the battle.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Bosn); his son Michael and his wife Linda; his son David and his grandchildren Abigail, Hannah, Noah, and Samuel; and his son Adam with his wife Amy, granddaughter Ella and grandson Liam.
