Memorial services for Jennifer Sorrells, age 39, of Greeneville, Tennessee and formerly of O'Neill, Nebraska, will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at The Word of Life Church in O'Neill, NE.

Pastor Jim Loutzenhiser will officiate.

Burial will be in the O'Neill Cemetery.

Jennifer died Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, at her home in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Jennifer Renea Sorrells was born on April 12, 1977, in O'Neill, Nebraska to Jim and Sharon (Pritchett) Sorrells. She was one of 12 children.  Jennifer was raised in O'Neill, Nebraska, and graduated from O'Neill High School in 1996.

Jennifer moved to Greeneville, Tennessee in 2000.  While in Greeneville, Jennifer dedicated her life to caring for others.  Jennifer informed her most recent employer in Greeneville, Life Care Center of Greeneville, that her parents instilled in her the responsibility and desire to care for and respect other people. Jennifer took pride in her work as a Laundry Aide and went above and beyond to ensure not only that her work was completed, but also that she took time to get to know the residents.  Jennifer was an incredibly kind, caring individual who loved her friends and family with all of her heart.

Jennifer loved to spend time with her friends and family and had a special connection with her many nieces and nephews. Jennifer loved flea marketing and buying thoughtful gifts for her loved ones.  Jennifer loved her dog Stubby and treated him like a child.  Stubby ate fine meals prepared with love by his favorite companion.   Jennifer was in touch with nature and enjoyed sightseeing. Jennifer also enjoyed fishing, bowling and loved horses.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Sharon Pritchett Sorrells of O'Neill, NE; her father, Jim (Nancy) Sorrells of O'Neill, NE; siblings, Shannon (Zane) Pease of Stuart, NE, Michile Sorrells of Norfolk, NE, Cody Sorrells of Spencer, NE, Monte (Jada) Sorrells of Norfolk, NE, Rose Jackson of O'Neill, NE, Kelly Jackson of Broken Bow, NE, Chrissy Jackson (Adam) of O'Neill, NE, Raelynn Sorrells (Barry) of Seward, NE,  Amber Underwood of O'Neill, NE, Franklin Sorrells of O'Neill, NE, and Illea Griffin of O'Neill NE; her nieces and nephews, Shaleena (Tony) Timm of Atkinson, NE, Cole Pease of Stuart, NE, Starchile Davis of Norfolk, NE, Grant Pease of Stuart, NE, Andrik Sorrells of Norfolk, NE, Treyvon Sorrells of Norfolk, NE, Zeyden and Hazel Holz of Seward, NE; her great nieces and nephews, Lane Murray, Cabela Murray, and Teegan Timm of Atkinson, NE; and her fur baby, Stubby.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents T.J. Sorrells, Lola May Moser, Melba Sorrells, Al and Aline Pritchett; her aunts and uncles Evelyn and Raymond Whaley, Rick Sorrells; her cousins Stanley Whaley and Lorrie Whaley.
