A Funeral Service for Kathleen Grenier, age 92, of O'Neill, NE will be 2:30 PM on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Burial will be the O'Neill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday from 1:30-2:30 PM at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

She passed away Wednesday May 2, 2018, at the O'Neill Care and Rehabilitation Center in O'Neill.

Biglins Mortuary of O'Neill will be in charge of arrangements.

Kathleen Elaine McDermott was born near O'Neill on August 23, 1925 to Dominic and Elva (Johnson) McDermott.  She attended several area country schools.  She worked at the O'Neill Photo Studio for many years. Kathleen also worked for Tri-State Egg Processing and at the Holt County Annex.

Kathleen married Cecil Grenier at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill on February 21, 1950.  He passed away in 1973 and Kathleen married Tom Reimers.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, and gardening.  Kathleen was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the St. Patrick's Altar Society, and the O'Neill Eagle's Club.

Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Marlene Parks of O'Neill, Nadine Fritz and husband, Don, of Benton, Montana, Loreen Fritz and husband, Joseph, of O'Neill; brothers, Ronald McDermott and wife Carol, of Alliance, Lonnie McDermott and wife, Pauline, of Big Timber, Montana; one brother-in-law, Mel McKlem; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husbands, Cecil Grenier in 1973 and Thomas Reimers in 2008; one brother, Eugene McDermott; two sisters, Madeline McKlem and Sharleen McDermott.
