A Memorial Mass for Loraine J. Krupski, age 94 of O'Neill will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill.  Fr. Starman will officiate.  Inurnment will follow in the O'Neill Cemetery.  A Memorial Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a 7:00 pm Parish Rosary.  Loraine passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Parkside Manor in Stuart, NE.  Memorials may be directed to the St. Mary's Schools Foundation or St. Patrick's Foundation.  Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill are in charge of arrangements.

Loraine Jean Burghardt was born September 15, 1930 on her parent's farm near St. Libory, Nebraska to Henry and Helen (Faye) Burghardt.  She received her education at St. Libory Grade School and Grand Island Senior High School.

She married John Krupski April 14, 1952 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island, NE.  They made their home in Grand Island after returning from Bainbridge, MD where John was stationed while he was in the U.S. Navy.  They moved to O'Neill, NE in 1970 where they owned and operated J&L Shoes.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, St. Patrick's Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of America.

Loraine is survived by her 7 children, Shari (Marv) Goldenstein of Phoenix, AZ, Jane (MJ) Kersenbrock of O'Neill, NE, Fran Krupski of Waterloo, NE, Ruth Krupski of Chandler, AZ, Tony (Mary Ellen) Krupski of Cave Creek, AZ, Joan Kay of Chandler, AZ, John J. Krupski of Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Eileen Dingwerth of Grand Island, NE.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; two brothers; one sister; one infant son, Joseph at birth; along with 2 sons-in-law, Mark Derickson (Ruth) and Dave Kay (Joan).
