A Funeral Mass for Lorraine Wabs, age 62, of Page will be 10:30 am Friday, September 6, 2019 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill with burial to follow in the Page Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a 7:00 pm rosary.  Lorraine passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Arbor Care Center in O'Neill with her family by her side.  Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.  Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.  Visit biglinsmortuary.com to leave online condolences.

Lorraine Rosie Pritchett was born on April 27, 1957 in O'Neill to Joseph and Rosie (Turay) Pritchett.  She attended country school at District 60 through the 8 ^th grade, the graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1976.  After graduating, Lorraine went to the Grand Island Business College for a year to learn to be a secretary.  After graduation from business college she decided to spread her wings and move to Vermillion, SD where she worked as a medical secretary for the medical college.  She took a few medical classes while working there.  After her Dad became ill, she felt the need to move back home and care for her parents.  She worked at the TG&Y store in O'Neill until it closed.  It was there that she met Larry Wabs.

Lorraine married the love of her life, Larry Wabs, on August 29, 1986 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill.    The couple made their home in O'Neill for a time before purchasing a farm near Page.  To this union, two children were born, Katie and Nathan. After her children were born, Lorraine stayed home to raise them.  Her children were her pride and joy and she tried hard not to miss an event the kids were involved in.

After the kids started school, Lorraine returned to the workforce working at Non-Pareil Potato Plant for 9 years.  She also worked at Bosselman's Pump and Pantry and Dollar General. She enjoyed greeting and visiting with customers.  The last three years she spent working at Bomgaars until her health wouldn't allow her to work anymore.   She was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and she struggled the last two years of her life fighting it.

Lorraine was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  She enjoyed working on the farm along side her family, raising chickens, gardening, crocheting, watching Husker sports, and taking short trips.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 33 years, Larry Wabs of Page; her two children, Katie Wabs of Plainview, Nathan Wabs of Page; four siblings, Loretta (Chuck) Roehrich of Grand Island, Doris (Tim) Brachle of Emmet, Jerald (Rhonda) Pritchett of O'Neill, Harvey Pritchett of Inman; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rosie Pritchett.
