Memorial Services for Pat Brockmann, age 73, of Monowi, Nebraska will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church in Lynch with Rev. John Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Alford Cemetery, near Monowi. Memorial Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Pat passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Butte Care Center in Butte, Nebraska. Memorials may be directed to her family for future designation. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in Spencer.

Patricia Ann Zimmerman was born November 17, 1950 to Albert and Eloise (LeBeau) Zimmerman in McLaughlin, SD. She went to high school at Rapid City Central and graduated in 1969 and attended Huron University in Huron, SD. Pat was very active in the drama department, putting on many plays in high school and throughout college.

After graduation, Pat met Roger "Poncho" Brockmann at a Nite Owls social and the couple later got married at Chapel in the Hills in Rapid City on September 20, 1975. She joined Poncho's family that included his children Dawn and Allen. The couple then had Mike, Jim, Amanda, and Clint. Pat taught in Lynch for a time, then she worked as a social worker and teacher in Santee. The couple then moved back to Monowi, where she taught in Lynch for over 35 years. She earned her Master's Degree from Doane College in Crete in the early 2000's. Pat retired in 2017.

Pat volunteered at the Lynn Theater and Library in Lynch. She coached the Lynch Speech, Drama, and One-Acts teams. Pat also started the Dinner Theater. She enjoyed reading, swimming at the pool, water aerobics, playing cards, and sewing; she even sewed her own wedding dress. Pat liked to travel with her family, mainly to Rapid City and Sturgis to spend time with parents. Pat was active in the Christ Lutheran Church in Lynch.

Patricia is survived by her children, Dawn (Tater) Lang of Loma, CO, Allen Brockmann of Hemet, CA, Jim (Mindy) McBride, Amanda Brockmann, Clint Brockmann all of Lynch, NE; grandchildren, Darris Workman, Dalton Workman, Collbren Lang, Camryn Lang, Paige Fritzlan, Manny Lang, Kara Lang, Dillion McBride, Ethan McBride, Alaina McBride; great grandchild, Kiki Workman; her sister, Carol Laney of Barstow, CA; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Poncho Brockmann in 1996; her son, Mike McBride in 2021; her grandchild, Preston Ellyson; her brother, Robert Zimmerman; and her brother-in-law, Mac Laney.
