A Celebration of Life for Rhonda (Wright) Rodgers, age 61, of O'Neill will be 7:00 pm Friday, January 10, 2025 at Biglins Mortuary in O'Neill. Pastor Wayne Owens will officiate.  Memorial Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, January 10, 2025 at Biglin's Mortuary.  Rhonda passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill.  Memorials may be directed to her family for future designation. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Rhonda Kay Wright was born August 28, 1963 in O'Neill, Nebraska to Royce and Shirley (Kopejtka) Wright.  She attended Inman Public Elementary School and then Orchard High School. Rhonda married Michael Rodgers from Missouri.  Michael was in the Army and she traveled with him to various bases that he was stationed at, including a stint in Germany.

Rhonda and Mike lived in Junction City, KS, Norfolk, NE, and O'Neill, NE before settling in the Springfield, MO area.  They later divorced.  Rhonda worked for many years at an Assisted Living Center.  She moved back to O'Neill in 2023 to be closer to her family as her health began to fail.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, being outside, and was a huge fan of Twin Bing candies.

Rhonda is survived by her five siblings, Laurie (Dennis) Hruza of Ord, NE, Gwen (Anthony) Leventon of California, Tyler (Anita) Wright of O'Neill, NE, Troy (Meleony) Wright of Battle Creek, NE, Robbie (Chet) Wright of O'Neill, NE; aunt, Carolyn Sass of Huron, SD; uncle, Gary (Diane) Kopejtka of Lincoln, NE; her beloved dog, Buddy; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a baby brother, Anthony Burck; a niece, Tressa Wright; a nephew, Adam Hruza; Kali Ann Dilsaver; several aunts and uncles; her dog, Lovie.
