A Celebration of Life service for Robert Kube, age 58, of O'Neill will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with Military Rites provided the O'Neill American Legion Simonson Post 93 and the American Legion Riders.

Robert passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in O'Neill.  Memorial may be directed to the family for future designation.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Joseph Kube was born in Lynch Nebraska on February 8, 1960 and was the 6th of 9 children.

Robert graduated from Lynch High school in 1978 and enlisted in the Army shortly thereafter.  After serving 20 years in the Army, he worked as a private consultant for SouthCom in Florida and then went on to several years working for the Department of the Army (N.S.A) at Fort Meade, Maryland.  After retirement, in 2010, he lived and worked on his sister's farm in Butte, Nebraska and then in 2013 he moved to O'Neill, NE.  Robert was pleased to find work with Holz Lumber Company where he enjoyed working for just over 5 years.  He loved learning and working with his hands which explains his continuous work on cars and home remodels in his spare time.

Robert is survived by his children, Adam Kube of Georgia, BJ Kube of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Tabitha Kube of Norfolk, Virginia; ex-wife, Shiela Kube of Norfolk, Nebraska; a very special friend, Trish Petersen of Page, Nebraska, his surviving siblings include: Bruce Kube and wife Carla of O'Neill, Nebraska, Grace Coleman of O'Neill, Nebraska, Brenda Reiman and husband Jerome of Butte, Nebraska, Ruth Peterson, and husband Richard of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Elizabeth Schwartz and husband David of Aurora, Nebraska, Bernice Mikula and husband, Skip of Thornton, Colorado and Lisa York and husband Danny of Westerville, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Dennis C. Kube, His Brother, Roman F. Kube and his Mother, Helen M. Kube.
