Funeral Services for Ronald Timm, age 74, of O'Neill will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church in O'Neill.

Pastor Mike Durre will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the church.

Ron passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his home.

Ronald Gene Timm was born on July 22, 1942 to Herbert and Hazel (Anderson) Timm on the family farm east of O'Neill.  He attended O'Neill Public Schools through the tenth grade.

Ron worked many jobs throughout his life.  He started out putting up hay for Bill Griffin and later hauled milk for Bill Logmann.  For a time, he bought and drove his own milk truck.  He then drove for Tom Zack Sr, and O'Neill Concrete.  Ron then drove almost 30 years for Prouty Construction.  He also milked cows and farmed for a few years.

Ron was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.  He also like to read Westerns and collect guns.

Ron is survived by his wife, JoAnn Timm of O'Neill; two sons, Ron Timm Jr of Fremont and Bill Timm, and his wife, Shari, of Lincoln; three step-children, Wade Latzel of O'Neill, Brady Latzel and his wife, Vicki, of Inman, Dolores Tiedgen and her husband, Fred, of Battle Creek; 12 grandchildren, Tony, Emily, Katie, Hannah, Braedon, Stephanie, Jennifer, Ashley, Cody, Kyle, Katelynn, Kira; seven step-grandchildren, Jason, Jenny, Sonya, Dave, Marisa, Michaela, Josh; many great grandchildren; and his best buddies, Tom and Peanut.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Diane Latzel.
