Funeral Services for Rose Marie Kizzire, age 86, of O'Neill will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 9, 2018, at the First Christian Church in O'Neill. Burial will follow in the O'Neill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 PM with a 7PM Prayer Service, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.  She passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the O'Neill Care and Rehabilitation Center. Memorials may be give to the church.  Biglin's Mortuary of O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Rose Marie was born on March 23, 1931 to Bert and Vera (Sissel) Bartlett in Stafford, KS.  The family moved to Alliance, NE, and Rose Marie graduated from Alliance High School. She then attended Chadron State College in Chadron, NE.

On March 23, 1954 Rose Marie and Clifford Kizzire were married at the courthouse in Sydney, NE by the Methodist minister.  To this union three children were born, Curtis, Corey, and Lynnette.  The family lived and farmed in the Bayard, NE, area before moving to O'Neill in 1956, when Clifford took a job with the State of Nebraska as Patrol Carrier Enforcement Officer.

Rose Marie liked to sew, and made clothes for her family and others in the community.  Clifford was an avid gardener and she canned most of the produce.  She also enjoyed a variety of house plants and decorating in their home of many years.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in O'Neill.

She is survived by her children, Curtis Kizzire and wife Linda of O'Neill, NE, Corey Kizzire and wife Cathy of Gillette, WY, Lynnette Lampert of Norfolk, NE, 12 grandchildren, Heather Herlick and husband Adam of Plattsmouth, NE, Christopher Kizzire and wife Apryl of Laurel, NE, Cody Kizzire of O'Neill, NE, Kaitlynn Kizzire of Lincoln, NE, Carolyne Roseland and husband Scott of Lincoln, NE, Kenny Bouzek and wife Kirsten of Gillette, WY, Patty Moore of Lincoln, NE, Cassidy Kizzire and life partner Audrey of Ames, NE, Colton Kizzire of O'Neill, NE, Clifford Kizzire of Norfolk, NE, Harry Charles Lampert III and wife Christine of Norfolk, NE, and Brian Lampert and wife  Jennifer of Norfolk, NE. 22 great grandchildren, sister in law, Eileen Kizzire of Scotts Bluff, NE.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford in 2012.
