Private Memorial Services for Sandra Herley, age 58, of O'Neill will be at a later date.

Sandra passed away on March 9, 2018 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Biglin's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Sandra Ann Steffen was born on April 22, 1959 in Coleridge, Nebraska to Russell and Marian (Alf) Steffen.  She graduated from Hartington High School in 1977.

Sandee met Mark Herley in O'Neill, Nebraska and the couple was later married in 1994.  She worked for a time at Tia Zia Restaurant in O'Neill until health problems forced her to take disability in 2000.

Sandee enjoyed knitting plastic canvas projects and was a great cook. She and Mark shared a love of all things Star Trek.

Sandee is survived by her two sons, Randel Borer of Lincoln, Nebraska, Ian Herley of Atkinson; one brother, Russel Steffen and wife, Mary, of Rising City, Nebraska; one sister, Charleen Doyle and husband, Pat, of Des Moines, Iowa; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
