Private Family Services for Stan Jacobsen, age 73, of Norfolk, formerly of Orchard, will be held at a later date.

Stan passed away at the Norfolk Care and Rehabilitation Center in Norfolk, NE, on December 4, 2017.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Stan Jacobsen was born in Antelope County in 1944 to Everett and Leota (Marshall) Jacobsen. He Graduated from Orchard High School in 1962, and married Diane June Kemper of Page in 1965. He worked most of his career in retail management for a range of companies, including Robert Hall, Service Merchandise, Montgomery Ward and JoAnn Fabrics. He loved art, music, the outdoors, and good food.


He is survived by his wife Shirley Buss Jacobsen, of Norfolk, his sons Chad Jacobsen of Portland, Oregon and Craig Jacobsen of Phoenix, Arizona, and his sister Sharon of Aurora, Nebraska.
