A Funeral Mass for Theresa Nielsen, age 69, of O'Neill will be 10:30 am Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill, with burial to follow in the O'Neill Cemetery.  Fr Rod Kneifl will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a 7 pm Parish Rosary.  Theresa passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Arbor Care Center in O'Neill.  Memorials can be given to the family for future designation.  Biglin's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Theresa Mary Conway was born December 15, 1950 in O'Neill, Nebraska to Raymond and Anna Marie (Schiltz) Conway.  She attended school at District 90 northwest of O'Neill through the eighth grade.  She graduated from O'Neill St. Mary's High School in 1970.

After graduation, Theresa worked for the City of O'Neill as a part time Police Dispatcher.  While working in O'Neill, she met Norman Nielsen.  They were married on September 1, 1973 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  To this union 7 children were born; Eric, Kimberly, Nathan, Melissa, Regina, Norman Jr, and Matthew.  Norman and Theresa lived in Lynch, NE until 1975 when they moved to an acreage near Inman.  Theresa stayed busy helping Norman with their business, Nielsen Communications, and raising their children.

Theresa was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and she was active in the State and County Republican Party.  She enjoyed attending religious retreats and traveling.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Norman of Inman, Nebraska; children, Eric Nielsen of Inman, NE, Kimberly Berggren and husband Matthew of Shalimar, FL, Nathan Nielsen and wife Sabrina of Lincoln, NE, Melissa Nielsen of Omaha, NE, Regina Nielsen of Atkinson, NE, Norman Nielsen, Jr and wife Tami of Bassett, NE, Matthew Nielsen and wife Heather of Lincoln, NE; 8 grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Kailey, Katelyn and Mark Berggren, Jordan and Jacqueline Nielsen and Beckham Nielsen; brothers, Joseph Conway and wife Linda of Havre, MT, Albert Conway and wife Carol of O'Neill, NE; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Anna Conway and one brother, Eugene Conway.
